Came up with several ideas and figured I'd share 'em with y'all.
Soldiers of Sorcery The Kingdom of Neo Haierlarck wins a bigass war against three other great governing powers. Two of those powers merge with its own and the third, the Duchy of Nuberein, renowned as a center of magical creatures of all kinds, has become the target for King Heliord's new war campaign. Using the power of his kingdom combined with the technology of Dumorga Alliance and the incredible alchemy of Escalaine Academy, Neo Haierlarck is tirelessly hunting magical creatures. Crap, that's you, ain't it? You've been on the run and have finally taken shelter in Cauldron, a vast underground atelier that provides a refuge to all magical life forms (and not a few non-magical life forms sympathetic to Cauldron's mission to stop Neo Haierlarck from ridding the world of magic). This is a free-form RP in nature in which the players will be fighting the near-limitless might of the Neo Haierlarck Kingdom with any advantage they can muster. Not all characters are required to have magical powers. Supreme Warrior HAVEN, or the Hardcore Adult Video Entertainment Network (those who've RP'd in Evil's Return may remember this network), is one of the most influential forces in the world. Spanning a whopping twenty-two channels that cover sexual fetishes you've probably never even happened upon on the Internet, HAVEN has a limitless amount of clout and power, even able to grant just about any earthly wish for those who compete in the Supreme Warrior Tournament Challenge. Seriously, a through-and-through born Chinese man became president of the United States by winning the tournament. He didn't do a bad job, either. Got re-elected, actually. Anyways, the SWTC is a relatively new addition to HAVEN, being about the adult world of senseless and rampant violence that make most horror movies seem as tame as kindergarden school trips to the zoo or whatever. You've got a wish. A wish you couldn't possibly ever fulfill with your own abilities. You need victory in the tournament to achieve this goal and you have bravely (or foolishly...or both) signed up your life for a chance. From the Octagore Arena all the way up to the Grand Escape, you're going to kickass all the way to the top. I guess you could say it's a not quite so post-apocalyptic world where somehow an adult entertainment conglomerate has god-like powers that cover the entire world. Wow. I bet that's one helluva tournament, then. The kind of party that only real men deserve to die in. Volatility Hossberg Asylum. Man, what the hell did you do to get landed up in that place? That place ain't natural, man. They say your own mind turns against you in ways it couldn't possibly do before you ended up there. No sir, that place is not about padded walls and straightjackets. It's about repenting for your sins, and I don't mean no community service. Players have in some way or another become new arrivals at the Hossberg Asylum, a place where they will face against their own demons and the demons of the asylum in strange and nostalgic places as they heal their minds and are forgiven of the dreaded sins that have put them there in the first place. My system for this is based on Volatily, where you'll have five levels of powers (based around your unforgivable sins in life) that will become accessible and inaccessible during heighten levels of danger in combat. For example, suppose you're fighting just a small group of monsters. Then you'd only have access to your Volatily Level One powers, and you'd have access to Volatily Level Five powers and those below that level when facing against large numbers of powerful foes. Some creatures I already have planned, but the majority of the creatures, as well as the locations and story, will be the result of your character's sins and backstory prior to being placed in Hossberg Asylum. Big Ol' Boss Rush I'm honestly not sure why I'm putting this one up. Basically, I'm disappointed in all the RPs I've started that didn't get to the best parts, the more important boss fights. There's no real story here, and I'm allowing just about anything for characters so long as they're powerful (like your avatars, for example). The whole point of this RP is kickass battles against bosses from my old RPs that never saw the spotlight because the RPs went dead before they got nearly that far. |

I like Big Ol' Boss Rush for the sheer novelty of it, but I am definitely putting my vote into Volatility. I'm a fan of strange happenings in asylums

I like Volatility, Supreme Warrior, and Boss Rush, in that order.

Kings will beat the crap out of unbeaten bosses, and do them justice.

All right, it seems Boss Rush may actually win, with Volatility a close second. Could use a few more votes, though.

Volatility first, then Soldiers of Sorcery second.

Hmmm...now there's a tie again. Very well, I'm just going to do one after the other once I taken the time to research my own RPs. Expect a signup for Big Ol' Boss Rush (it'll go by a different name) this weekend.

I would vote volatility, but Big Ol Boss Rush seems to be most popular so I'll just conform with the rest and vote for it.
