There's no way Sarda could have survived.If he did,he would turn up and laugh at them.Unless he's aware of us{that's right,our world} and wants to mess around with our minds

Which means that the lightwarriors are screwed when they try to hit the ground. They die, Onion Kid never hears of them again, and Sarda grows up believing that he was the one that killed them. In the end they killed themselves.
