I've seen several instances both in the comic and in the forum of people saying Black Mage's aim is terrible, bad, or downright not accurate. But as I've read back through the comic, I've noticed something which disproves those claims.
Whenever BM misses, his spell hits something good, instead of the intended Targets, usually the LW. So it's my theory he actually has perfect aim, but his subconscious directs it against anything that might cause good or happiness. The ship full of food and medical supplies. The rebuilt dwarven nation, the orphanage. And he has always missed the LW, because ets face it, they can only inflict pain and misery upon the world. So bm really has perfect aim. |

Still doesn't change the fact that his aim is worse then Boonie's (Joe's wife) from family guy. It DOES however mean that he might not want to hit the bad thing, which could explain him missing so much. But there were still too many times when he wanted to hit something and still missed (remember the volcano? That was one of them.) to really make up for it.

Also like I said, that would have killed the LW, and they can only spread misery upon the world. His aim is attracted to good things. |

Besides that depends on what he thinks is good. Cause pretty much everything else seems good compared to the LWs.

New findings!
http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/09/...e-stupid-race/ http://www.nuklearpower.com/2005/09/...94-bad-timing/ I really don't see anything good about the dwarfs. plus his aim was WAY off on that one. He even admitted to it. Quote:

Wasn't the (incredibly obvious) joke that he caused the extinction of the dinosaurs on our planet? Unless I'm missing an invisible comic where it shows the whole planet being annihilated.
Maybe it's in the nature of the hadoken to seek out good things and destroy them, thus his lack of success with the volcano or the LWs. Or Sarda the first time. (The second time he could have just aimed everywhere or at the floor for all we know.) |
