Fighter took on a 6-armed fiend of fire to a standstill by himself, dual-wielding swordchucks. They've seriously been deleveled to the point of infancy.

Also, if Fighter can't fight, Thief can't do thiefy things, and RM can't cast diddly squat, then BM has as much a chance of surviving as a soap bubble fighting Hellraiser does. We all know the world exists to hurt BM, and I was reminded of this earlier tonight when I finished another random nostalgic campaign of FF on NES. Using the 8BT party, no one dies the whole game, now I'm fighting Chaos, he's being demolished, round 3, Chaos casts Crack, BM dies, Fighter attacks, Chaos dies, I laugh at the total appropriateness of that ending.

man, I probably lol'ed way too hard at the fourth panel.

Seems that Black Mage is the only one who hasn't tried anything, so unleashing the fury on some Chaos nards isn't out of the picture yet!
