Has anyone here picked up this bad boy?

I was interested in it when it came out, but it was the same week as Pokemon and a week after FFXIII so i had decided not to grab it. I tend to pick up most Tri-Ace games, so now I'm kind of wondering if I should give in and get it, as FF wasnt all that thrilling for me and I need a new experience to wash that away.

Reading reviews shows it has a unique world map system involving hexes and some extremely difficult combat. Heck, everything I read makes me think it might be right up my alley, but it also seems to be getting mediocre scores.

I'm curious, if anyone has picked it up, what do you think of it?
