EDIT: I should add that so far, my experience has been this is fun. It is not boring and certainly not Sociopaths Online nor as much a Spreadsheet Simulator as some would suggest. The community is very helpful with tips and if someone kills you and you are new, they tend to give you ISK to cover your loss as they WANT you to keep playing.

EDIT 2: A couple other things. EVE Online is heading towards the release of a new expansion and this video. I give the person credit for the effort spent to cut this youtube vid. My complaint is...well she is definitely NOT Megumi Hayashibara.

EDIT 3: One final trailer. NSFW due to swearing. Probably the best trailer for an online game ever due to using voices of players during actual gameplay.

I don't really have any engagement with EVE of MMO games at all, but we all know what a pompous self-important windbag I am, so I'll take the title of this thread as permission to talk about myself! Woo!

Me? I've been playing a ton of games!

Why, yes, good citizen, clever noting that "a ton" is approximately "three" and the youngest of those came out in 2008!

In my defense, the first two were played because I've a four-year old, and he, too, is playing them. (I'm actually starting to stall out on my "collect every star" in SMG2, to my shame - that monkey one where you jump all the octorocks or whatever they're called has beaten me at present, and world six is irritatingly and depressingly annoying - but it could just be life distractions kicking in.) The last one was literally me messing around last night while waiting on my wife to watch something online.

Is... is it weird that I more watch people play games and talk about them than play games myself? Man, parenting; you change so much...

Naw its reasonably normal now. You may have a fair quantity there but I watch a lot of gaming as well under the right circumstances. It is especially bad to me with Dark Souls content, and gaming personalities playing it for the first time or whatever. I like seeing other people responding to the various challenges of the game or other reveals.

I also was all about that for Undertale because I want everyone to have their heart broken with me.

EDIT: I've watched Undertale several times now. It's pretty great.

Also, everyone, I don't know how long it's going to be on sale, but Oh! RPG! is currently on a Steam Sale for $1.99 - the first chapter alone proved be worth it (I played it today; I understand there are something like five total playable chapters, or some-such). It's both funny and thoughtful, and, though not infinitely original, definitely solid. I recommend it, at the current price.

And yes...CCP has it's own in-house Rockband. The song you hear in the trailer is the one in this video.

And so I've done the 120 Stars for Mario Galaxy and gotten up to however many it requires to be able to beat Bowser with Luigi (but I haven't earned all 120, so... no special picture that indicates Luigi is Rosalina's dad from an alternate timeline #Loyal~~Game~~ConspiracyTheorist), and I've gotten 200+ in 'Galaxy 2.

I'm really not sure what I get for getting all of the stars in '2 - I don't think I ever really bothered last time. It's nice that I can play Luigi any time I want, now, though.

I liked the Hub of the first one a lot better, and the story was both more moving and beautiful, but I like all of the little touches from the second one a bit better, too.

I really should finish the first one, though.
