Okay, I got this from the Zelda Vault Forums...man I miss them!
Anyways, how it works is, when someone posts you say something about the person above you (^), something about yourself (<) and something about the next person to post (>).. an example would be: person A: ^ Hates spam <loves rain >is a moron get the rules? Then lets have some fun!! ^ no one above me < is majorly obsessed with Final Fantasy > chased a bear, ran around a tree, then got chased.
