My favorite is either the Demo or Sniper, but they all really shine. It's great how they've really fleshed out these (insane) characters around some pretty universal FPS classes.
I want one of those for the Pyro. It would be pretty much muffled, insane, joyful screaming while burning the world. Like his taunt and cheer.
I like the Heavy.
"Oh my God, who touched Sasha? WHO TOUCHED MY GUN?"
Viridis
04-04-2009, 02:47 PM
Yeah, they all have great moments. The "outsmart a bullet" line reeks of awesome as does the Demoman's "grim bloody fable" line.
Everyone in this game's a completely insane mercenary working for insane companies long past the point of caring about anything but the destruction of the other and it's awesome.
Oh, and the Soldier's crazy thing about Sun Tzu inventing the zoo.

LEGOLAND® California Model Builder Helps “Mythbusters” Dispell Myth!
Popular Discovery Channel Show Highlights Family Theme Park in Upcoming Episode
CARLSBAD, Calif. (April 28, 2009) – “Mythbusters” reached out to a Master Model Builder at LEGOLAND® California to help dispel a myth regarding a giant LEGO® ball on an upcoming episode of the popular international show airing April 29, 2009 on the Discovery Channel.
“It was an honor to be included in the project,” said LEGOLAND Master Model Builder Gary McIntire. “I have always been a huge fan of the show so for them to come and ask for my help was really a proud moment in my career!”
Show hosts Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara trekked down to Carlsbad, California from the show’s home base in San Francisco to use McIntire’s expertise on how to build a nearly 10-foot LEGO sphere.
The myth originated with a YouTube video in which Indiana Jones fans reenacted the famous boulder chase scene from “Raiders of the Lost Ark” with the “boulder” being made of five-million LEGO bricks. The boulder is rolled down a steep street in San Francisco, crashes into a car, and remains somewhat intact. The “Mythbusters” team set out to discover if a boulder of that size could really be made entirely of LEGO bricks and still roll so smoothly down a steep hill without breaking apart into millions of pieces. In order to debunk the myth, McIntire and 20 others worked on building the ball using nearly one million LEGO bricks over the course of nearly two weeks.
“We have more than 15,000 LEGO models here at LEGOLAND California,” said McIntire, “and this is by far the singularly largest creation I’ve ever helped to build!”
The “Mythbusters” team spent a day at LEGOLAND California researching models similar to the one they needed to build studying sphere shapes such as the head of the giant 17-foot-tall pharaoh in the Park’s newest area, Land of Adventure and the dome of the Griffith Observatory in Miniland U.S.A.

Honey, not liking someone because they don’t have pupils is ridiculous. You know how annoyed you get when someone calls you a red-head. All those hospital bills… if the media found out it wasn’t for ‘Naruto’s Idiotic Accidents’ we’d have some major problems. You really do have to stop beating random people up. You do enough of that working for the company.
It’s a Hyuuga thing anyway, the no pupil thing I mean.

Especially if they keep the motor noise.

I so happened to have stumbled upon a textual transcript of a group of adventurers playing the old D&D classic Tomb of Horrors.
For those who are not familiar with this module, it has the reputation of being one of the nastiest, most unforgiving and horrible dungeons ever created.
Here are some snippets from their sessions:
[tomb] Paulie says, "Hey, I just want to point out something:"
[tomb] Paulie says, "We've now made it two hours of realtime without anyone dying."
[tomb] Elgran says, "yay"
[tomb] DM says, "Yeah, this sucks"
[tomb] InnocentBystander says, "by sheer dumb luck"
[tomb] Paulie says, "Or finding any treasure. Or defeating any monsters."
[tomb] Rosie exclaims, "No damage either!"
[tomb] Paulie exclaims, "But still, two hours!"
If you're familiar with The Tomb of Horrors, you will know why this is such a feat to accomplish.
[Crows-Nest] FinnM says, "This is the funniest massacre I've seen in a long time."
[Crows-Nest] nothings says, "New theory: tanks in front"
[Crows-Nest] Clem says, "Bah, we can take this guy."
[Crows-Nest] nothings says, "wait, THAT'S NOT A NEW THEORY AT ALL"
Crumbli says, "Remember when we were planning what we would do when we entered the tomb, and we talked about all the clever things we could do to avoid traps? We haven't done any of them."
Clem asks, "Why would I summon an elephant??"
Clem asks, "On wheels???"
It was all done via an online program, so the text transcripts includes all OOC speak, dice rolls and in character speech. I found it to be a very entertaining read and the players at times are hilarious with the things they say/do.
You can follow their adventures through this link. (http://spod-central.org/~lpsmith/rpg/transcripts/tomb/)

Rather ingenious but simple design. Its like a Rail road engine in reverse. There is a wheel in the center that pushes the legs around then a hydraulics system connected to the base that makes the tops of the legs extend when the wheel is in a certain spot. they set up 4 of these wheels and set them out of sequence. then to turn they turn two wheels slightly slower and to do a 360 they turn them in opposite directions. but after doing both he has to check and see if the legs are out of sequence again.
Ok looking at it again its pendulum like things instead of wheels but...
...What!?
