In my experience, most gay guys aren't going to target straight guys. There's no reason to. It's a waste of energy. They might tease you, but it's hardly serious. I make tons of jokes about me flirting with Mirai, and he's actually helped me come up with a few because he knows there's nothing behind it. Yes, there are a couple that'd keep it up, but that's just an individual thing that has nothing to do with their sexuality. Plus, how are they supposed to know your sexuality? Do straight people sparkle in the sunlight? Do they wear signs on their backs that say "I'm straight!" There seems to be this belief amongst homophobes who don't want to admit that they're homophobes that it's okay to react negatively, or even violently, to a person of the same gender hitting on them. This is pretty much why I'm terrified of the idea of hitting on people. I don't want to get my ass kicked by some guy who isn't comfortable enough with his sexuality to turn me down nicely and thinks he has to "beat up the queer" to prove he's not gay. Even if you wouldn't react violently, I have a hard time looking at your posts and thinking you wouldn't be a dick if a gay guy hit on you.

If a guy asks me out I'm not gonna hit him. I'll turn him down (politely or not depending on how my day has been so far) and leave it at that.
