Honestly there really, really aren't any gay stereotypes in DA2. All of the vanilla love interests are bi and the DLC guy is straight. For that matter, of the four standard love interests, one male and one female will proposition you regardless of gender, while the other two you'll have to work at regardless of gender. Anders, easily one of the best characters of the series, is just as "friendly" with Hawke either sex, and despite an awkward lack of a friendship option in response to his initial pass, if you take the "It's... unexpected" option (at least for a guy) and then change the subject, he takes the hint and you let him down easy. For that matter, the only real issue is the lack of an immediate friendship option. The guy is honest, but subtle and respectful about it, and he's very sincere. If ever put in a similarly awkward position, he's pretty much the type I'd hope I was dealing with.
...Oh, wait, this is about retarded petitions in general, isn't it? Yeah, 90% of petitions are retarded. Also, there's no need to worry, because petitions as a whole pretty much never accomplish anything unless they're governmental, so yeah.
