![]() I've always felt that Digimon was the more "mature" of the two shows. It dealt with bigger conflicts and had way more character development. The only really development I saw in Pokemon was Ash and Misty becoming a little less hotheaded as time went on. On the flip side, Pokemon was a little more "accessible" due to having more memorable "mons" (let's face it, kids remember the names of Pokemon because they were constantly saying them), generally better animation, and (of course) Team Rocket. It was a bit easier to collect Pokemon merch due to the game's catalogue system. Returning to the original topic(?), I personally feel that the American national anthem should be replaced by the Team Rocket motto. They're pretty much the same thing, right? |
