I mean, half of the games I bought when I bought a PS2 were for the first console, since I had gone the N64 route instead. Maybe with a PS4 I'd finally play some PS3 titles.

I doubt they'd do that ever again though, not now they have the psn and they can get people to buy their games all over again. Sorry, I'm being really cynical in this thread aren't I.
It's wierd, I always used to get really excited for the next gen consoles (even though I could never afford them upon release), but I'm just so... unenthusiastic about this next one. Maybe I've just gotten jaded as I got older.
