I had no idea this even existed. Now I must go out and track down a PAL version, if one exists.

Hell I might even see about getting all the other seasons on DVD while I'm at it, seeing as how I'm running out of stuff to watch at the moment.

I mean I guess there's people out there who dislike totally fanastic things but I don' know why we would concern ourselves with such people.
Like me and Avatar?

Anyways, I have no clue whatsoever about this thing. They've promoted it less than Clerks: The Cartoon. Where can I go to see it?

Bummer, it ain't out on PAL yet, which means I'll have to wait months until I can get it.

On the plus side, I've found a 4 season boxset for only £80. Score!

Futurama is my favorite cartoon show of all time. To say that I was eagerly awaiting this for the last four years is a bit of an understatement.

That being said, I rented it, and I liked it. Bender's Big Score is not stellar, but it is fun on a bun. I was not disappointed.

Now to await the release of the next straight-to-DVD Futurama movie. Can't wait.

P.S. All glory to the Hypnotoad.

So yeah, I just saw the movie and it was great. It did a great job with humor and continuity and the Lars being alternate reality Fry was a nice twist at the end. It was a tiny bit predictable but still good nonetheless. Also, I've seen enough of Fry's ass for a lifetime. Also, the tattoo that the Professor had was badass.

Also, they did a great job with the cameos. It brought back a lot of nostalgia-induced moments. It is kinda odd too that the day I see this movie, we're talking Scammers and Con Artists in English because of Huckleberry Finn. Funny how things work out.

I disagree. It seemed like they had a ton of characters in there just for the sake of having them, making them seem like mere fanservice. In a cartoon that is typically revered for plot and the strength of individual characters, heavily relying on fanservice is a very bad precedent to set, and I can only hope it's significantly toned down for the next movies.

What makes that fanservice even worse is that it completely neuters the emotional effect of previous episodes like Luck of the Fryrish and Jurassic Bark. Now Fry DIDN'T disappear, meaning his nephew got to know him afterall and Seymour didn't die a lonely death? Bah.

The musical numbers needed work as well.

However, the movie is still incredibly enjoyable. I completely lost it at Hanukkah Zombie's Jewish TIE fighter. I saw the plot twist coming from a mile away though.

What are you talking about? The fact that Fry's dog didn't wait all its life for Fry and then die all lonesome-like made me so happy! That wasn't neutering the emotion of the previous episode per se, it was using those feelings and turning it around and making it a joyful moment. I mean, the dog still dies so that still sucks.

All I'm saying is that you definitely should not check out this link. It's for your own good.

The movie was awesome.

Yeah, I actually feel kinda bad for cheaping out and watching it on this guy's Youtube videos (which have since been deleted), mostly because it hurts the Futurama sales and discourages the staff from making future movies (though, it seemed like this movie was more a fan comeback to me, then a money grabber). Though, I am probably going to buy or at least rent the movie and see it again to help Futurama keep going. I wish the Fry/Leela relationship could've gotten more fleshed out. It was like, right at its peak that the show was cancelled. It seemed like the relationship was gonna get much more involved after that last episode.

Sure, it kinda makes you realize how much Fry has left behind in his own time, but the series covers that in other episodes. Basically, that episode just felt too depressing for its own good, at least to me. It's probably my least favorite episode, though I absolutely love the show.

Regardless, I agree with Rick in that seeing the dog made me really happy.
