I have that! I'll see you that and raise you all three of the battle themes from FF:MQ, along with the music for the endgame area of the Focus Tower, the Dungeon and Waterfall theme, the theme from Fireburg, the Lava Dome theme, the Fossil Labyrinth theme, and the theme from "Mountain Range of Whirlwinds" (so called according to the SPC title). Those kicked far more ass than they had a right to, I think, considering the game they came from was more video than game.

Practically every track from Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is a masterpiece. A personal favorite is The Tragic Prince.

Many of the tracks in Chrono Cross are wonderful, and the whole soundtrack is worth checking out. A couple of select tracks would be On the Beach of Dreams ~Another World~, and Termina ~Another World~.

Basically every track in Mega Man 2.

Also the Chrono Trigger theme, for all that it's expected of me. The bit at the end where you fight Lavos as the alien spacesuit guy, that's a good tune too.

Anyway, I was always more of a Big Blue fan, myself.

But that's neither here nor there.

One Winged Angel is a great song, I must admit. It's Sephiroth's saving grace.
That introduction was the ~20 seconds that made the game worth playing, next to the Tifa/Scarlet Bitchslap Minigame. Maybe it was the blatant "Purple Haze" inspiration; I know it's not original to think "Purple Haze" is great, but I always loved that opening riff.

OWA seems to be more closely associated with ol' Seph now than his actual leitmotif, which feels a bit off to me. His more human forms can't really carry it.

I sorta liked Cloud of Darkness' boss theme in the same way, but for some reason it brings to mind some kind of Dragon Ball-esque anime image, which makes me like it less.

"Dancing Mad" is indeed awesome.

The Chrono Trigger soundtrack has been mentioned; Chrono Cross' probably deserves recognition by me for sometimes making me forget how disappointed the game made me feel.

Our NES version was always set to "Dance of the Sugarplum Fairy." Sadly, that song always reminds me of Tetris now, and not so much The Nutcracker Suite.

I personally happen to like the Mute City they stuck in the Gamecube F-Zero game a while back. Very technoy but the raw guitar for the central theme was spectacular.

This one.

I acutally like the FFX ending boss song, why, Because its frickin Rock all the other ones are pretty good, but none of them have any none oprea music in it, now don't get me wrongI LOVE everything FF literaly, but i like the music in ten best, but if the music in the versus thirteen youtube video (from E3) then i will have to say that one. But as rumors are just rumors I have to go with the final boss theme for FFX

Last Battle is a good track, but I prefer the music that comes just before it, World Revolution.
