As for poll coverage, if the last elections count for anything, FOX is fail and CNN is pretty reliable.

Still, I'm very disconcerted by the popular vote being so close. WHY IS IT SO CLOSE!?

Despite being based on Canadian voting and being a few years old, LoadingReadyRun provides a very good reason for voting.

Some time ago, a friend of mine told me that when the time for voting came, I should use the Write-In ballot to pick a certain Texas ranger. Personally, I would've gone for Mario instead, but part of me is wondering what would've happened had that actually gained any real momentum.

Right now I'm seeing 207 for Barack and 135 for McCain, but the popular votes are really, really close. I'm surprised out of my goddamn mind by how close they are.

It's actually a lot closer than I expected. I was actually hoping for a landslide for Obama so that the Repubs would see that their supporters aren't happy with how the party is being run, but it looks like that won't happen.

California hasn't come in yet. That should give Obama a lot of votes.
But Mccain is doing better than expected. He had a bit of a late surge in the campaign which perhaps is influencing that.

I'm kind of shocked that Obama's economic plan to tax people who earn high incomes hasn't costed him the ellection...

It can't verb him a verb that doesn't exist. Besides, most people aren't rich, they don't care about the rich, and a lot of not rich people hate the rich for being rich. The only people that are really gonna get that upset over it are people who'd vote McCain simply because he's Republican. Oh, and rich people.
