Sooo we are assuming that their sun has a diameter roughly 600 times that of Ours? (865,000 miles, btw...Earth is only 93,000,000 miles away from the sun, Also, Antares is the largest known sun[I THINK] and its only about 187,000,000 miles in diameter)

Also, according to the original theory, a planet ruled by giant lizards is a good thing?

Seems I miss calculated, my bad. Hoduken might be designed to seek out and end life it's self. Which could explain it destroying the lizard home world.

EDIT: No wait that still doesn't explain it missing the LWs.

Plausible enough that the beam just seeks out whatever is a gesture of kindness and love. It IS after all, a concentrated beam that's powered by stealing the love of the world and turning it into hate or something of that sort. Kinda drunk right now, so yeah; might be a little inaccurate on the description.

I prefer the much simpler theory that BM missing is a great running gag and it hitting something else and causing horrible destruction is another, darker humor form of a running gag.

So... Rule of Funny. Twice.

Yeah but it's just so much more fun to spend countless hours trying to find logic in it. Which is in a fictional fan comic. XD

Yeah it being a running gag is pretty much obvious when you think about it, considering how Brian has handled things up till now.

I really don't see anything good about the dwarfs. plus his aim was WAY off on that one. He even admitted to it.

The sun it's self is roughly 500,000,000 miles in length. Plus their planet it's self is several hundred million miles away from the sun. Wow. Those were the very two comics that made me think of this theory.

Tis why I said his subconscious aims towards good things, thus why he misses the LW who are evil(Except Fighter of course) and usually hits good things.

For the Dwarfs, I'd say killing off the productive citizens and destroying a rebuilt nation is killing something good. For the giant lizard planet, I'm not too sure.

I agree about it being a running gag though.

Yep, this is it. You guys and your astronomical calculations are WAAAAAY overthinking the situation. BM misses because it is funny.

The earth is a little over 8 light minutes from the sun. The other planet was in synchronous orbit, which is to say it was on the opposite side of the sun, at about the same distance.

It was a little over 16 light minutes. Somewhere between 16.5 and 17 light minutes, I believe. That's a far cry from several billion light years.

Whenever BM misses, his spell hits something good, instead of the intended Targets, usually the LW. So it's my theory he actually has perfect aim, but his subconscious directs it against anything that might cause good or happiness. The ship full of food and medical supplies. The rebuilt dwarven nation, the orphanage. And he has always missed the LW, because ets face it, they can only inflict pain and misery upon the world.

So bm really has perfect aim.
This is a neat theory, I'm gonna go with this.

It would actually make sense. I mean, if there is a reason, this is probably it.
