I don't know why I didn't think about this before, but Bahamut is probably going to take the place of airship in this game, assuming you're allowed to get any real airship action on, and that fact is pretty damn cool.

That WOULD be pretty interesting and frankly really cool, but sadly, I've seen no indication of that. It seems the party prefers to hijack military aircraft and then wonders why they keep getting shot at/down. XD

There is one point where Fang uses Bahamut to rescue everyone when their aircraft goes kaboom, but that seems to be the exception for now. Besides, he looks mostly like a single-seater: http://finalfantasy.wikia.com/wiki/E..._XIII)#Bahamut
