I keep getting the odd gem here and there to keep me busy, but it's all so boring compared to all that I hear about. The siege from the undead underground, and goblin raids are the latest interesting developments. Just today though, a woodworker was made into overseer. Perhaps he, too, can appreciate the work of the unmentioned? We don't use much wood here, and no one talks about the gems I make either, except maybe when we sell them.

Maybe I'll visit him at his office (room?) sometime soon? But maybe that'd be too forward...

I'll keep gem-cutting, if nothing else.
