It's not about supporting Nomura, but about acknowledging serviceable character design when compared to crappy translations like Amano's. Say what you will about Nomura ripping his own work with XIII's main cast, but at least they are interesting to look at (especially Sazh and Fang). Whereas Amano's work looks like a six-year old drawing alien people with claws for hands.

He had like zero input on that game apart from character design*. All the gameplay and story ideas were provided by the guys at Jupiter.

No, his artwork was still very terrible there.

Just so it is known, Nomura had nothing to do with Castlevania Judgement, but I can't help but feel the character deign there screams out his metrosexual excesses anyway.

I hate all the animations. They seem too floaty. Attacks need more weight.
The storyline seems retarded so far. There are a lot of coinkydinkies and stuff happens just for the sake of it. I cannot decide whether Hope or Vanille is the most annoying, however.
The music is awful apart from the main battle and boss battle themes.
The two-hour long tutorial is... wow. I just hope the difficulty ramps up soon because it seems to be the slowest and easiest Final Fantasy in a while.
Also, every single fucking stream I've watched has the camera going all figure-skating at the slightest touch. I cannot say whether this is the player's fault or the game's.

EDIT: You lose a battle if your party leader dies. It doesn't matter if the other two goons are still fighting. BULLSHIT

Oh good. They did remember to add in SOME difficulty. Never mind the no MP thing. Nevermind the full heal after every battle. Nevermind the okay yeah this game is probably pretty terrible.
